Rotating Equipment Mechanic
/Responsibilities of the Rotating Equipment Mechanic include, but are not limited to:
Repair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment either in-house or in the field. Most work and repairs are accomplished in the shop environment.
Qualifications of the Equipment Mechanic include, but are not limited to:
Municipal and Industrial pump experience including lift station pumps and controls, vertical and horizontal centrifugal pumps
Pump & Rotating equipment or strong mechanical background
Blower and vacuum pump experience desirable
Must supply own tools
Drug test required
Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines
Driver’s license (Required)
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Technical or trade school in mechanics (Beneficial)
Will train with the right candidate
Additional Information:
Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Working Conditions: Shop and field environment
Work Hours: 7:30 to 4:30, Monday through Friday
Travel: To/From job sites occasional
Education: High School Diploma
This is a full time (40 hours per week) job paying $24.00-$32.00 per hour
